We have just released a new mid-cycle update of AlterNET Studio with the main improvements listed below:
Updated icons for code completion, debug menus, and toolbars.
The code completion, debug menus, and toolbars now feature new icons that align with the visual style of Visual Studio 2022.
Jump to declaration and automatic brace completion.
Code Editor now supports the “Jump to Declaration” feature, activated by holding Control and clicking on a symbol.
For C# and Visual Basic Roslyn-based parsers, the Code Editor automatically completes users code by inserting the closing brace or quote character when you type the opening symbol.
Code Editor improvements and optimizations
Code completion is made faster and more responsive in WinForms SyntaxEdit thanks to the implementation of a virtual mode Listbox.
Dark theme is now fully implemented for WPF TextEditor, including Search and Goto line dialogs.
Enhanced scripting and debugging
Sripter now supports signing assemblies with pfx certificates and time-stamp URLs, preventing false-positive virus warnings.
NET 6 projects with implicit using and resolve source paths even when they differ from the PDB file location.
Updated documentation
We have included more information to our reference documentation and improved documentation filtering experience.
