We’re excited to announce the official release of AlterNET Studio 9.1. This mid-cycle update brings a range of enhancements and improvements across all our component libraries.
Here are the AlterNET Studio 9.1 release highlights:
Enhanced code editing with Code Fix and Code Refactoring
Roslyn C# and Visual Basic Support: Code Fix and Code Refactoring are now available for both Roslyn C# and Visual Basic parsers.
Code Fix helps you automatically fix common errors like missing interfaces, typos, and missing namespaces.
Code Refactoring assists in improving code readability, maintainability, and extensibility without altering its functionality
Code Editor displays a special code-action image when relevant code fixes or refactorings are available, making it easy to access these features.
Enhanced Python and IronPython support
The IronPython scripter and script debugger now fully support IronPython 3.4, providing access to the latest features and improvements in the IronPython language.
For projects using IronPython 2, we’ve added a new NuGet package to ensure compatibility.
Our advanced Python Parser now offers code completion for popular third-party packages like NumPy.
Enhanced debugging with DebuggerDisplay attribute
Debugger tooltips and watches now display customized information based on the DebuggerDisplay attribute.
Enhanced Form Designer
The newly added ComponentList simplifies component selection on your form, while In-place editing is now supported for Toolbox items and category.
